Sigma 70-300mm DG Macro Lens
I also got myself a Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 DG Macro lens.
And fiddling with the lens gave me these two pics. The two canisters are barely an inch apart, Sure an inch ahead of Garnier, yet an attractive blur.

New Camera -- Nikon D3000
News - I got myself a Nikon D3000 - my first DSLR. It came along with a Nikon 18-55mm VR kit lens. In the Kolkata market it cost me Rs.22000/- approximately (body + kit lens).
I have been following the news in the DSLR market closely over the last couple of months and had zeroed in on this camera hoping that it would be the best for a smooth transition from the point and shoot to the DSLR. After all, most reviews of the D3000 dub it as the best for beginners in the DSLR scene.
